The rest of the world has taken the profit out of health care, and the vast majority of people like it just fine. But here in the United States, we are backward and quickly falling behind, mostly because many politicians and lobbyists lie about reform and its consequences

Obama's problem is that the democratic majority is that in name only. it was achieved by electing people who wouldn't have beeen caught dead in the democratic party 20 years ago.

When I lived in Germany, as a non-citizen and freelancer, I had private health insurance. I paid a bit less there monthly than I do for my self-employed coverage here, but it was VASTLY superior to what I have here. On my German private plan, there was no deductible, and it covered just about everything you can think of, and then some. Many of my doctors would even make HOUSE CALLS, at no extra charge. I got up to 10 physical therapy visits for an old back injury for peanuts out of pocket, and just 6 of these fixed me up like new. When I had seen my HMO doc in the States a couple of years prior, she pulled out the pad, offered me pain pills and muscle relaxers, and said there was nothing more she could do.

They're too nice by design, on this subject James. It's all calculated to protect the Insurance industry. Period. Did you watch that video I posted the other day? It was the a speech given during a debate in Canada to cut funding to their newly started National Health program. The man giving it, pushed the first bill through. His last speech finished getting the program the money it needed to stay alive, and increase coverage to dentistry and glasses. WATCH IT, pass it around. Whenever some Politician says we can't do something, he's lying. We found how many trillions to start two wars, and kill people and our soldiers? We won't find the money to give them the proper care they'll need, for the brain injuries our Army will never aknowledge. Fucking Liars!
