In English class we are currently discussing poetry, something I hate doing, but now she's making us write a poem alluding to a work of art. At first I wanted to do a commentary on society, with a painting that shows poverty in someway or another. cool. i was wondering what got you into poetry, and frankly, it had me worried. i guess you know that i love poetry though. at least your poem didnt have to be 50-75 lines, 500 word min.

how can you put a word limit on poetry? It's self expression, it can't be forced. I still don't like it, but I felt like sharing
