About number 6 -- one of my favorite albums from 1978 was "The Man Machine" by Kraftwerk because our music teacher used it in class for a lot of activities during the 1978-1979 and 1979-1980 school years (my 5th and 6th grade years) and it was so different than anything else I'd heard at the time.

about the only thing I can thank my mother for is her taste in music, I heard kraftwerk when I was a kid and fell in love with the style, it took a hearty dose of bad late 90's techo to turn me off eletronic music
