Subway does the toasted thing, but it's just not the same. It just gets hard on the outside.

And no one likes a hard sandwich. Well, I guess maybe some people do, but I don't. No sir.

Although I mean it really depends on just how hard the sandwich is. Because sometimes you're more in the mood for a crispy sandwich, or even a little crunchy, rather than just plain old soft.

i know! not to mention, subway just jumped on the toasty bandwagon after quizno's did it to make their sub-par (haha) sandwiches marginally better than they were. it only counts as toasted if it goes through a conveyor-based cooking system, not some reject easy-bake oven. screw you subway.
