Yep. So, if you would be so inclined as to backstory with Sean, I bet he and I would both like it.

Personal History: Sean hails from Cork, Ireland in a house that's far too small for seven people, but they make do. Sean is the oldest of five kids, all an assortment of ages and magical ability. His father, Sean Sr., is the wizard in the family while his mother, Caitlin, is the nonchalant and frequently confused muggle. Sean is used to taking care of things around the house, being the oldest (and having to compensate for his mother's complete lack of magical knowledge); he's been doing it all his life. Magical ability manifested itself rather early for Sean (much to the relief of his father, who didn't think of himself as a very good wizard anyway, so it wasn't as though he was mixing very good wizarding genes with muggle genes). When he was four, he'd managed to save his younger brother Cody from toppling out of his high chair by floating him to safety. Well, Sean doesn't remember it, but it's what they say.
When he turned eleven years old, Sean went off to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff, just like his dad. (His mother did not know what was meant by "Hufflepuff", but still managed to knit him an entirely embarrassing jumper with a badger on it.) Because of his friendly nature, he made many friends his age, and because of his penchant for looking out for people, made a lot of younger friends, too. As his brothers and sisters joined Hogwarts, he made sure to look after them, too; it's one of the only things he's really good at.
Personality: Sean is extraordinarily energetic and friendly - or not so much friendly, as just incredibly enthusiastic about people. That doesn't mean he's very good at talking to them or anything, but he still likes to. He has boundless energy but is a bit absent-minded, very prone to vague silliness, and is not really very bright. He's not dumb, but he does have a tendency to not think before he acts or speaks -- even thinking whilst taking an exam seems to be a little impossible for him. He does know an awful lot about music, muggle comic books, and Quidditch, although he doesn't think this will get him through school. It doesn't matter. He's still going to tell you about them, and he'll probably tell you more than once. He has a lot of trouble paying attention to something for more than five seconds, which isn't exactly the best sort of behavior a Seeker should have, but it's a lot easier to pay attention when it's Quidditch.
Sean is also fiercely loyal to those he cares about. He likes taking care of people and doing things for them and is willing to put himself on the line to protect someone. Which is usually not a very bright thing to do, but he still does it.
He's not cool. He totally knows he's not cool, but at least he's nice, right?
Physical Description: Sean is tall and gangly, about 6'3" and roughly 160 pounds. He looks more skinny than muscular, although he's a bit more capable than he looks. He has dark, reddish hair that doesn't do anything but be curly and not cool, and very light blue eyes. He has incredibly fair skin that burns easily -- his normal look, since he likes being in the sun.

Hobbies and talents - max of five:
- Flying
- Art: Well, he doesn't think he's incredibly good, but he does like sketching things and creating comics for himself and anyone he feels like showing.
Weaknesses - for every hobby or talent, the character must have two weaknesses:
- Absent-minded/virtually non-existent attention span: He has trouble remembering simple facts, depending on the subject, and tries to concentrate on things but is usually unable to.
- Sometimes incredibly obnoxious, although he doesn't mean to be; he just doesn't realize when people aren't interested in hearing him.
- He would love to be able to play guitar or something, but instruments mysteriously seem to break when he's around. He just can't, despite having taken lessons.
- Although Sean has a remarkably long fuse and rarely ever gets angry, he never thinks before he acts and often comes off as hot-headed. He isn't, really, he's just impulsive. He also really likes dangerous things, although he isn't actually brave enough to handle them.
Best subjects - max of three: Care of Magical Creatures (because animals are cool), Muggle Studies
Worst subjects - no max: Um, all of them? Even the ones he's good at, he's not that great. He's worst at Potions and History of Magic (which he finds impossible to pay attention to), but he's also pretty awful at Charms and Transfiguration, too. Oh, and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
