It's a real shame that you're running out of time for applying for courses. I think it's ridiculous that Queen Margaret think 20 UCAS points are so valuable. Will they still let you into the course if there are spaces left?
As for Kingston, I say go for it! I understand you might not be prepared to move so soon at this stage; I'm only just coming to grips with the idea and I'm only moving a train journey away. It's a challenge, but it's also a fantastic experience that we all know you'll love. If it's too sudden, I say you get a good job (possibly full time), do some workshops and such like, and save up for Kingston. Don't worry about money, there are loads of places that should give you grants if you apply to them. You've got the talent, you just need the drive! A year out may seem like a waste, but I'm sure you can make the most of it and build up your experience gradually.
Best of luck to you! I'm sure everything will fall into place sooner than you think xxxxxxxx
Thanks Nicola! My main issue, is that if you counted my highers in English and Drama, i would have more than 400 Points. Considering the courses are so different from the Advanced Highers, it would make sense to count them separatly :/ But no, they can't let me on the course until I get another Higher Blah Blah Blah. This is the kind of thing Miranda should say to you when you pick them. But no. She just suggests hairdressing and Queen Margaret which DONT BLOODY LET ME IN!
Kingston does sound wonderful but I just couldn't go this year. There are so many drawbacks, Money, moving to London (which obviosuly also has its bonuses), being away from everyway at such an unstable time in my life. But I agree, it is a challenge and I always have wanted to move away from Glasgow.
But thanks Nicola. You actually have been incredibly helpful. xxxxxxxxxx
