Looks like Blu-Ray has the hammer and nails in hand with the proverbial coffin already closing

Guess I need to go get a PS3(which I was planning on doing anyway). Hopefully Sony still decides to drop the price again(if they haven't already)

Or microsoft will release a blu ray external drive.

I'm assuming they will do just that. But how long will it be is the question?

Sounds like they are still fighting....for now.

amazon is selling hddvd's for $12, half.com $18-ish with buy one get one free deals.

I just can't wait until someone just calls one format the real and true winner so I can buy a player with confidence!

Don't HDDVD's hold like 25 gigs, and Blu-Ray hold 50 gigs??? I may be way off. But, if I'm right, it's kind of a no brainer for companies to choose Blu-Ray format. I hope XBOX does release a Blu-ray drive, or a format-free type drive... but until the games warrant it, it's not important to me, yet ( ... )
