After taking my bike back into Ace to get it fixed, they had quoted me 150$  for repairs.

Well this afternoon I receive a call from them telling me the frame is bent and to come in and check it out. So I get there, the guy flips the bike over, promptly shows me the crack/bend in the frame.

no kidding. Since I've been relegated to driving again, we'll see how long it takes to tear through that 1200$.

Just so I'm clear about this: Did you file a police report when this guy hit you? His insurance should cover the cost of a new bike, shouldn't it?

Nope. I was the one ticketed since I was going the opposite direction on 7th street.

I could make a claim with my insurance but the deductible is 500$, hence making a claim worthless.
