His answer was so quick and logical that it actually took her by surprise. Why was he acting so strangely today? She made a mental note to ask him about later.
Hmmm... wonder if she's noticed something about Clark in the last few days that she wouldn't have otherwise. It doesn't feel like it when it comes to this chapter but then again there could have been something in the previous chapters that I missed.
*sniffles* Gosh, I remember reading most of this fic in one go way back when and feeling like Richard would never get out of there. And now... well, I figured you wouldn't kill Richard, but it's still a relief to read it. I love the scene where Lois finds out he's alive, and her conversation with Clark in the hospital and his lack of Clark-ness. The reunion is beautiful, and most of all I can't wait to find out what the heck Underground is. ♥
