I was just wondering if locking the journal for Friends Only has any advantages, or if it's simply a privacy wish! :) Is all.

Ah. : ) It's just a privacy wish. I got spammed by a random person one day and realized that all of my thoughts and events were open for the world to see... and that got me thinking. So, I went back and locked everything except my chapter updates and drabbles. That way, if anyone is interested in seeing the Writer's works, they can. But, if they're interested in being a part of my life, they're going to have to work a little harder. ; )

I've often wondered if I should do the same thing - but I tend to friends lock everything personal on my LJ, anyway. I have a very fangirling sort of journal, not really a personal one.

That was a surprise. But I know what you mean about random posters. I still get annoyed when I remember the 'Richana' blaster that commented on my posts way back when. I've considered it, but it's never really been a problem over there on mine. And I second Mom's emotion: I'm glad I'm your friend!

Well, I also realized that I have all this information about mom on here, so the last thing I wanted was to have that dispayed for the world to see.
