I spent the evening being semi-productive and watching PBS. I forgot how much I love PBS. FIrst they showed The Defiant Ones, a buddy flick about two escaped convicts who are chained together on the run. It had Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier, and featured a lot of gratuitous cradling

*is sad* PBS no longer exists at my house, my parents blame the trees for being too tall. I blame PBS for being enigmatic.

Aww- That's too bad. PBS does tend to have a fairly weak signal though, sadly.

They're making a Sherlock Holmes movie? With Ian Hart as Watson? *clasps hands in gleeful anticipation*

Yeah, the original Oceans 11 is nearly as much fun as the remake (though not quite as slashy). It's fun seeing them sneakily bypass 1960s-era casino security, and they manage to work an amusing number of Rat Pack referneces and songs in there. And Frank Sinatra is both incredibly short and incredibly skinny.
