Awww!

It's so easy to forget how young all of these characters are, especially at the beginning (in each universe). I just turned 21, myself, and the idea that these people are barely older than me - or, in some cases, younger than me - is kind of terrifying.

That said, I think this is awesome, and I especially like your Logan voice, and Storm's internal voice.

I'm turning twenty-three in two months myself, so it's really kind of mind boggling.

Logan was disgustingly easy to write - the easiest part of this whole thing, in fact. He's so stubborn, rude, and generally unhelpful.

Poor Storm, she's really the only sensible one on that team, I can't help but think that she must have been sent there essentially to babysit, since Adventures-verse Steve and Tony are so clearly about twenty-five.

This fic definitely made me go and download the rest of the Marvel Adventures Avengers series. (I'd only read the one with Ego the Date-Rape-y planet which, despite the amusing crack, bothered me a little.) I have a feeling I will enjoy its adorable fun.

(Also, now that my schoolwork is (mostly) done, I swear that beta-ing your next chapter is at the top of my agenda. I'm sorry I suck so much!)

Adventures-verse Avengers is definitely worth the read - it's pure fluff, but adorable. And there's a new issue out today!

I have to admit, I'm also looking forward to Adventures-verse Iron Man, though I do wonder how in the hell they plan to make Tony suitable and accessible for children under twelve, since he really never has been, even in the really old Tales of Suspense stuff.

We're eagerly awaiting the chance to begin posting fixit-fic, but trust me, we both totally understand how hectic school can be!

Cap and Tony are married in every universe, but they're extra super special married in Adventures. Extra super special married with matching coffee mugs. And Cap gets to drive all the cool toys first.

I think Adventures Avengers is Marvel's response to Ultimates sucking so hard (and an excuse for them to have fluffy, happy Avengers team stuff devoid of CW).

Now you must write the "snake-bite" one!

The snake-bite one's already under way. Hopefully, I should have it up by this evening - I just need to go pick up my cap and gown first.

It also meant that the Avengers currently consisted of Captain America, his boyfriend, the Hulk, and two teenagers. Ororo stood, nodding. "I'll prepare to leave immediately," she said.

The juxtaposition of these two sentences made me giggle madly.

And this was delightfully fun, as much fun as MA Avengers has been (it's now my goto book for a world where the Avengers don't all hate or despise each other.)

That sentence is why this ficlet exists in the first place.

MA Avengers is adorable fluff, and clearly exists because Joe Quesada wanted a world in wich Steve and Tony could be happily married (I think they're more married in Adventures-verse than anywhere else, possibly even 616).

I don't know, they are pretty married in 616! Which bits are you thinking of? I haven't read all the MA Avengers yet.

Oh, the wuv each other in 616 in the way that Victorian romance novels only dreamed of, but in Adventures-verse, they're pretty much just fluffily, happily married. And clearly sleeping together from the beginning of things, which means that most of the really horrible things that happened to them (well, to be fair, mostly Tony) in 616 won't be anywhere near as bad.

Which is why elspethdixon and I have decided that Tony had the drinking problem (complete with suicidalness and everything) about six months to a year before Steve was unfrozen, and it's totally the one deep, dark secret that Steve still doesn't know about.

Possibly, we have put too much thought into a title essentially aimed at ten year olds.

Loved this, but hang on...there's a Marvel 'verse where Tony/Steve is canon?

I know I'm admitting to being terribly unknowledgable, but please bear with me, my town has only one comic book store, and it is woefully small (not their fault, rent is extortionate here!) Is there somewhere you could point me to where I could read that series? (preferably for free)

Well there's a world Reed discovers in 616 using his whole alt dimension thing where it's femaletony and Steve and they marry and avert the civil war. But terribly sadly it only gets one panel and no further development which is tragic really.

They're not actually officially dating in any other verse or anything but well they get pretty shippy in some. I feel like Avengers Assembled the show basically exists to ship them (Clint totally does and you really can't convince me otherwise) and I have seen a few parts of Marvel Adventures that seem pretty shippy. But it depends on how you read into it but they're obviously really close in prettymuch every 'verse.

I'm looking to find downloads of it too but I guess since it's targeted for younger audiences it's harder to find.
