On Saturday, elspethdixon and I drove all day in order to pick up a kitten; he is tiny, black, fuzzy, and likes cuddling with the laptops, and chewing on electrical wires. Hence, his name is Anthony ( Read more... )

Awww, baby! He looks just like our Max, who died earlier this year at the ripe old age of 17. He was a good boy.

A friend of mine has a cat who also used to chew on wires. She put some hot sauce on them and he stopped right away! He still licks lit lightbulbs, though(we still haven't figured out why).

Our congratulations on the new boy!

Tory! ::pounces:: How are you? It's been ages, and, well, I kind of fell of of the face of the earth for a bit, with school, and life, and stuff, but I've been trying to keep an eye out for everyone via lj, and, well, how are things going?

I'm...getting eaten by work a lot, so I'm falling off the face of the earth pretty frequently too. And oscillating between multiple fandoms. I'm 2.5 years graduated from Bennington, living in Boston area with one of my sweeties (the other visits a lot), working at a tiny startup-ish IT company, finally on antidepressants, and finally admitting that I'm pagan.

*pounces back*

How are you?

I'm a year graduate from the New School in NYC, living in College Park with my fiancee (and if Governor Spitzer follows through on his promises, I shall make an honest woman of her next year). She's a library science student at UMD, I'm enrolled in an online program for the same degree, and we're planning to move to New York come June. Well, I'll be there from this winter, since I'm finally back on anti-depressants for the third time.

But yay for you being on them, and finally admitting that you're pagan! Which traditions do you follow, if you follow any? And what kind of work are you doing with the IT company?

Also, if you're ever in the New York area, you'll have to give me a heads-up, so we can get together.
