This story, like all your other Marvel stories, is completely great. It's so satisfying to have a big epic story to plow through, and you guys write the best big epic stories ever! I'm super super looking forwards to the next installment.

Totally off topic, would you and/or elspethdixon like to go to the New York Comic Con for free? My work is looking for people to man the booth for an hour or two in exchange for free entrance, and I was told that anyone I could vouch for would be welcome.

For one thing, a lot of Marvel and related guests are always there every year, and for another, my bosses know the best comic industry gossip ever.

Nothing too strenuous, just hanging out and handing out free raffle tickets.

Gah. I'd really love to do this, and help you out, but I strongly suspect that for a variety of reasons that I probably shouldn't. Avoiding as current comics news and discussion as humanly possible has been a saving grace for me over the past few months, and going to a Comic Con is probably not the best way to continue doing that.

Sorry :(.

Hey, you have to do what's right for you. I get it.

I will say, though, that most of the news and discussion content tends to be at the panels, which you can go to or not.

That said, I totally understand gafiating. I'm pretty much staying away from Marvel-616 Avengers canon until things start looking better - which, I suspect, they will as the Captain America and Avengers movies approach. Because Marvel likes money and isn't going to repeat the Iron Man ball-dropping if they have an ounce of sense.
