3 makes me very happy. And I had wondered about the warrior/mechanikos divide, so it's nice to know that you don't know.

wrt 2 - I feel dumb, because I'm not seeing the pun. Maybe I'm pronouncing it wrong?

4 is a great image, and 5-8 make me laugh, especially the bit about Jonah.

I do like this universe, it is awesome.

The Eye of Argon. It's an infamously bad fantasy story that people used to do mock readings of at cons (i.e. the person who could get the farthest through it with a straight face won).
