I just saw OTHELLO at The Shakespeare Theater and it was without a doubt the most incredible acting in live theater I have ever seen. Avery Brooks managed to pull off this marriage of strength and vulnerablity that I've never seen in an Othello. Tonight, I watched the WICKED bootleg with Hannah immediately after witnessing something that pretty much killed my soul. I should have dealt with with feelings right after instead of letting a show that I'm so sensitive to cause me to unravel with indescribable pain and despair.
