how can we understand where we're going if we don't know where we've been?

true.

have you ever walked around the south end? i would like to discover it more. i hadn't really walked aound it until last december 1st when i had to cover world aids day for photojournalism. let me know if you're up for it before you go.

yeah, i've walked around the south end quite a bit -- but largely the mass ave / tremont st. / washington st. corridors. i did a service project out of the jesuit urban center on albany st. when i was in high school and i've been to the bu dental school more times than i can count...

but, i'd definitely like to explore a bit more with you sometime. we could even incorporate a trip to the haley house bakery. how about sometime next week? we'll talk.

I was in Boston about a month ago and everytime I find myself that way I am just amazed. Boston is an incredable city (and alot older then anything in Sydney) What always amazes me is all the odd little things you find there. The way the old statehouse looks like the city just left it behind. I love going to The markets (Quincy) and tring to imagine when they were docks on the harbour, which is now like two blocks away! The random chirch of christian science, that place is freaky, and of course, one of my fav places in Boston- the whole prudential centre complex. The green line is also awesome. Have alot of good friends in Boston. Well hope your trip to this side of the world is as injoyable as your rediscovery of Boston! Are you prepared for the change of Temperatures? I know that Personaly I would hate to go from boston to sydney in January. That has got to be one of the worst temperature changes on the planet. Enjoy your trip.
