So, Stacie and I just sold off our big TV from downstairs. I listed it on Craigslist for $25. It was gone within 10 minutes. The guy who bought it got it for his daughter to have in college. Nice guy, and I'm glad it went to him ( Read more... )

I was thinking about leaving it up through Halloween and carving it up like a jack-o-lantern to scare the kiddies.

Seriously, though, it's not going anywhere. It's better rooted in the ground than some of the LIVE trees we have. But it does need to be cut down, and it will be in the next few months if finances allow for it :)

This is one reason NOT to buy a house, BTW -- these sorts of expenses don't happen when you live in an apartment!
