So. The D&D countdown page I linked to yesterday? Presumably, they successfully unveiled D&D 4th edition in real life, at Gen Con, in Indiana.

As for the online representation?

The webpage was merely a countdown to the servers crashing in a blaze of hits.

I just tried again after stepping away for a while and they now have a "Technical Difficulties Due to High Traffic" placeholder page up.

I'm sure they' be back online soon, but they're still getting creamed, and it's amusing me greatly.
