I don't make bread very often, but I did tonight. It's in the oven, and my whole apartment smells delicious!

My dad has a bread maker, and he used to bake breads so that they would be ready to eat in the mornings. Not much better to wake up to than fresh baked bread.

I've never owned a bread maker, although I've thought about it. Doing the kneading by hand is one of my favorite things. It has a meditativeness about it. :)
