Warning - rare, non-frovolous post about genuine human stuff that's important in my life.Like several others of you out there, my sweetie and I will be celebrating New Years Eve at home this year. Yays! I hope I get to see you much more in this one than I did in the last. You're the bestest, Katie, even when I'm a frightful flake. xoxo

"It mostly consisted of things I planned and never accomplished, so my big plan for 2006 is to see more things through to completion" That is a good one! I need to to do that too. Have a fabulous New Year's!

Thank you, Lady! Happy New Year to you, too! I hope I'll get to see you at least as much in 2006 as I did in 2005.

The man is definitely getting better, and I am apparently not getting worse. :)

P.S. I'm so sorry about the fairy shoot. Josie is still flaking. She hasn't even asked me for her wings since November, even now that she lives here in town again. They're still in the box behind my wardrobe. Guess we can write that one off. :(
But hey, there are many more things to shoot, if you're still game to work with your "old" models. ;)

Happy new year and those are very good resolutions, very similar to what I'm aiming for in 2006. Laura and I had a very mellow evening here, watching the Simpsons and drinking pomegranate martinis...mmmmm.... :)

Sounds like fun! Pomegranate martinis sound like teh yum. What's in 'em? Just pomegranate and vodka/gin? ... I bundled Patrick up in a fleecy blanket and watched about a billion Law & Orders (yay Tivo!) and drank the rest of the single malt he gave me for my birthday. The funny thing was, I'd forgotten to pour it in advance and I had to search high and low for clean glasses, so I was actually in the act of pouring when the clock struck midnight. It's all good, though, right? :)

Hey, we need to shoot sometime soon, seriously. I keep wanting to put together shoots, but I want everything to be simple and comfortable, the way it only is with people you already know. I'll be in NYC for half of this month, then in LA for part of Feb and NYC again for a few days in March, but I'm sure we can find some time in there somewhere. I even have some fledgling ideas. I'll email 'em to you when I get 'em fleshed out.

Yes, definitely need to do a shoot soon. I'm working this month and then doing some traveling in Feb/Mar as well, but just keep in touch and I'm sure we can coordinate something in there.

The drinks had vodka, triple sec, pomegranate juice with a splash of lime, shaken and served in lemon-crystal rimmed martini glasses. And, yes, it's all good. :)
