On Coincidence

Ever since I started watching the Showtime series Weeds, I've been wondering why I pop a wicked chubby every time the suburban ice-queen Celia Hoades graces the HD screen.

Recently, I've been reading a LOT of TV Tropes, where finding one article can lead to hours of wasting time reading all kinds of other pages -- including supporting materials.

My god. Link-hopping on TVTropes is my newest hobby and I realized I had a problem when I started checking stuff after work, finally looking up only to discover it was five hours later.

Weeds, I only saw so much of that and I don't get cable now, but man that should be my next netflix. I was not that attracted to that chick in big, she had a hard time enjoying a perfectly good trampoline.

Interestingly, I've developed some weird mental block about Elizabeth Perkins. Every time I see her, I go "wait a second, I've seen her before. Who is that?" And then I look her up on IMDB and realize I've done it before. This has happened maybe six times now, and I never recognize it when it's happening.

So weird! I have strange mental blocks about certain things too.

I don't think I'll forget now, but I guess that remains to be seen...
