I want a hear that fall mix! Also, I'm thinkin's a doin' another tapexchange thru LJ, except, like I said, You n Bobby are the only people I ever see here no more.
Business school? Really? Wow, I can't imagine that would do anything but make you hate your life every day. You'll want to make sure you balance that with something awesome, a job you love, something. Regular graduate school is corporate enough, I can't imagine business school. Take care of yourself.
Also, culinary school usually = still can't get a job and also is up to eyeballz in debt. Working your way up in a restaurant and THEN going to culinary school when it's actually necessary might be a better plan. You'll need more than a year or two of actual food prep experience to get hired at a job that will allow you to pay off your debt, esp if you plan to stay in Chicago.
By "business school," I mean taking classes about accounting and marketing and stuff so that a business I might start wouldn't fail. Not getting an MBA or something.
And culinary school seems to be very "this is how you take a raw chicken and turn it into something you can charge $40 for," and I have no interest in doing that.
I'm not about to make stupid dumb moves... I don't think.Which is why I'm working on ripening.
ripen away. i was merely trying to be all "ugh sean please don't do something that will make you hate your life" mostly because i spent all of last year hating my life.
although things are getting better slowly. so for what it's worth. ripen.
Seriously! How awesome. For real. Now we HAVE to be friends! I'm so happy I met you and liked you there right away. Yay internet! How funny. Add me back on facebook and see my happy rant about it. This totally made my day. :)
