I saw Manowar there in June and it is an extremely small place. Also the sound isn't nearly loud enough. Security are a bunch of dousche bags too and took our bullet belts and gauntlets after a heated wrestling match. But we showed them by stealing sodas, so whatever.

It's also in a uneven part of town. That Manowar show probably tripled the white populus in the area alone...haha...but anyway...

Just thought I'd share my tale.

dude the TLA is one of my favorite venues of all time... so it's not a sold out stadium :-P and im sure the security guys hired for metal shows are probably much different then normal, and cmon dude lol you know rowdiness is asking for it... never had a problem and has always sounded AMAZING... shows are too fucking loud!!! i dont wanna be deaf when im 25!!!

uneven part of town? it's south street dude lol.

cmon!!!

I have always had EXCELLENT experiences at the TLA. i love the sound, and the slanted room is HOT, you can see from anywhere, and its big enough to have your own space but small enough to be relatively personal, and i like a venue where you can feel that vibe with the band. TINKS is a good example too

but uhhh April 13, 2006 for the criteria/fall of troy/poison the well
and yunno, 10-15$ i expect.
