I'm lucky with the geography of where I was born, brought up and educated. The island is such a hodge podge of beliefs, different religions, different demoninations and what not that we get a broad exposure to many differing viewpoints. There's nothing like having various churches coming in and demanding that you believe their set of rules every couple of hundred years to have a society who nod in the general direction and carry on with their own thing as individuals. The only flaw is that my best friend is set on saving my soul at just about every opportunity. We have some very interesting discussions about it. :)
