This is so sweet. I just noticed it's been exactly 100 weeks since I last posted here, not that I ever really used this journal. K, just wanted to say that I loved it, and you just made 10,000 cool points for knowing and liking George R R Martin's books! ;D

Thanks, you just made me really happy! I write drabbles like that all the time - in the margins of my schoolbooks, on the back of receipts, on napkins... Apparently the effort's not entirely wasted then.
And yeah, George Martin is awesome, I love his writing. That's where I started out, actually - reading fantasy, that is. I think I started at the tender age of 10 with some weird swedish trilogy, then it was LotR, then it was whatever I could get my hands on...*heh* I became proficient in English for the sole reason that I'd run out of reading material translated to Swedish. That's why words like "destrier" and "minions" and "anguish" were common vocab for me by the age of 15...
