[So, a couple days back, Roxas got in a fight. Vanitas was being a jerk and punishing Dartanian the Charizard and Roxas, being a defender of pokemon, or at the very least, a typical shonen pokemon trainer, intervened because you need to be nice to your pokemon. Given that Vanitas is a jerk, a fight broke out and words were exchanged. Along with black eyes.
But when words are exchanged with someone like Vanitas, they usually aren't good words, and if anything, they are words that will make Roxas think, and Roxas thinks way too much when it comes to these sorts of things. These things being matters of the Heart. Roxas has always figured that he doesn't have a heart, probably isn't worthy of one, and that he's not that nice of a person, despite what people may say to the contrary. But that makes him wonder. Why does he care so much about pokemon? Why did he step in, violently, to protect a Charizard that he really had no association with? Where did this mentality come from? It's a new thing for him, that's he's never really reflected on. He's just sort of assumed that's the way things were. But now? Now he's not so sure.]
What does it mean to truly have a heart?
