Tra la la, tra la lee, rum tum tum tiddle um.

Rainy, pouring buckets. Windy, blowin' a hoolie. Ice, ice, baby, everywhere. On trees, on the ground, streets, sidewalks. In my heart. LOL (Don't worry, it'll melt.....) That said I do so, truly, LOVE winter. It is my jam, as the kids say. It's invigorating! Not to mention often sublimely gorgeous.

Nothing spells the end of the line for me as a desire to "go somewhere hot and sit on a beach".

Ha ha ha!! True that Madame Kasahara. Sometimes I think I am the only one in North America who feels like that, so I am glad to know of your own sentiment. I love beaches, and like to spend time on non-hot days walking along them or sitting and reading, or building large beach mandalas from found objects. But sunbathing in 90F weather?? Or, sunbathing anytime, ugh. Hot weather in general, ugh, and double ugh! Hee.
