First motorbike accident:: painful, but it could've been worse

There was no indication that it was going to be an unusually rough day when I woke up. Our 10:00am English-Vietnamese language exchange was canceled, so we decided to head off nice and early (for a day off) on our separate motorbike trips. I'm glad you're okay! I know how scooter accidents go. I had pain for a long time after the swelling was gone when pressure was put on it. Also after my accident, and with Dan Ng's suggestion I got a better helmet and some good gloves. I hope you heal quickly!

I'm glad you're ok! And that nothing's broken! I remember when Jim and I slid on his motorcycle years ago - one minute I was on the bike and next I was sliding down the pavement. It was like being bucked by a horse! And man, the bruises and swelling were nuts. Just remember that the 36th-48th hour after trauma is worst and it should start to slowly get better after that.
