Wow, ok, so this has been the first post in like, years, probably, and I'm doing it from Saigon, go figure. I've had a few requests to post updates on what its like over here, so I figured I'd go ahead and resurrect this thing

I knew Saigon was renamed! I'm jealous of you and your Vietnamese lessons. The reason you're trying to speak Spanish in them is that you're thinking "foreign language" and so of course Spanish comes up. Happens with me and Spanish/Chinese too. It's pretty common.

Ah, but did you know the renaming technically refers to BOTH Saigon and China Town? They are both separate civic entities.

And don''t be too jealous of vietnamese lessons...its the most evil tonal language ever!

Its a school trip for three weeks touring Vietnam, although its essentially a glorified vacation ;)
