Incidentally, 'His heart, Steve thought, was the most valuable part of him.' is my favourite line of them all.
Perfect line for Steve. Just perfect :)
*scrolls back up* Also, LOL, I totally read this at work right after it was posted and the mistakes I caught then are gone now! Curse you! Cruelly forcing me to read it again :) Somehow, I will persevere.

Probably partly because AIM is so campy by nature and partly because I wrote this while totally immersed in Avengers comics from the 60's and 70's. *grins* Thor's voice, in particular, is very 60's. But it was fun, so it works for me! *g*

:-) :-) I was worried that it was too sappy, but then I remembered the comics I was reading and I thought to myself, "Steve is a sap. And not shy about praising his colleagues in such terms. He would so think that. And say it, too."

*facepalm* I was hoping almost no one had seen that. *g* I just thank goodness that there were no major plot or continuity changes, just little typoes and word choice changes.

It's okay - you got to see my 'OOPS, LEFT THE COLOR PALETTE LAYER ON' art, so it's only fair ^_________^
