The best thing about the weeks right before Burning Man is the way it brings an atmosphere of carnivalesque workcamp into my yard. New people have joined the jazz cafe. Alas I, once again, shall not be one of them. Somebody has to stay home and be the mom, right

You know, it occurs to me that you're right. This is a rather silly way to try to get to know someone who probably doesn't live so very far away. (And our writing each magnificently maze-like in our own ways...) (I don't know where you live exactly, but I imagine somewhere in the bay area.) My schedule does seem to fill up somewhat relentlessly (which isn't a thing I oft regret) however, despite this, I'll put this out there: would you like to meet for coffee or a drink sometime?
