Political Donations of Seattle Notables
I recently found out about a nifty web application that is basically a database of every donor to 2008 US presidential election campaigns as of the end of last June. I was (really) bored one day, so I went through every ZIP code in Seattle and found several interesting donations:
William Gates (Sr.):
$2300 to Barack Obama
Paul Allen:
$4600 to Hillary Clinton
Martin Selig (Downtown real estate developer):
$2300 to Mitt Romney
$2300 to Rudy Giuliani
Howard Schultz:
$2300 to John Edwards
