I am love...love...love...loving this! When I found out you were writing a post s6 fic, I figured...might as well bow down and not do one of my own. This is INCREDIBLE. I am loving the feelings you're portraying here and I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment!

Thank you so much, Katie! I'm glad you're enjoying this so far! It's definitely the hardest thing I've ever written as far as fic goes. I hate seeing MerDer so sad, but I'm trying to keep it realistic and not just jump to happy stuff. They need to heal from this first.

Part three should be posted sometime tomorrow! Or that's my plan anyway. :)

This was the perfect companion to the season finale, which I just watched today (yeah, I know, yell at me). Both Meredith and Derek were very in-character, but you made them grow even more and added fluff amidst the angst, which I always love. :)
