hi Missy- so glad you wrote a take! Love that you brought up the miscarriage that the show seems to have forgotten ;-/ and the emphasis on Mer/Alex at the beginning because I love them so, and that was indeed the best thing to come out of that mess.. until SPOILER ALERT tell me you saw this week when they actually did have a convo? *GASP* I swear I'm still in disbelief that that got past the censors, HAHA. Anyway, ep/pd rocked it, and I love that they are like fighting it out and it's so awesome that I hate to nit pick lol- but if I did, I'd prefer your Derek a LOT better. he's not nearly as self righteous and acting like he didn't, indeed, run.. Anyway, hopefully he'll get there- dare I say after this week I'm optimistic ;)

Aah, I just saw this! Why does LJ not send me emails when people comment anymore? It's so frustrating. Anyway, so sorry for the long delay, but I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I'm happy to say that MerDer have come a long way since this episode. At least Derek isn't being an ass anymore. lol. Now all they need is Zola back, and I'll be a happy camper! :P

Also, in case you're interested, I posted a MerDerZola Christmas fic today, too. We could all use a little happiness! Hope you like it if you decide to read it, and happy holidays! :)
