Disclaimer: Shonda owns the show. The Boy Least Likely To owns the song used for the title. I’m just borrowing both.

Because I haven’t written a one shot since September, I figured it was time for another. This is set on Meredith and Derek’s first Christmas with Zola, sometime after 8x10. We could all use some Christmas happiness, right? Enjoy!

This is PERFECT.
I really need to see them with Zola again. And also Derek's mum. She need to visit them and her (hopefully) fifteenth snowflake.
The flashback was pretty and Zola's first steps. Just amazing :) You should write more about them.
Oh, and Elmo -> Emo was funny :D

Aww, thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I miss Zola so much on the show. They need to get her back ASAP! And ITA, I'd love to see Derek's mom visit, and see her with Zola. I'm sure it would be the most adorable thing ever. :) I'm hoping to write more of these in the second half of the season, because I had a lot of fun with this. Happy holidays! :)

Hi, so sorry for the late reply! LJ doesn't send me comment alerts anymore for some reason, so I didn't see this until now!

Anyway, here's a site where you can find the Zola icons. They're imageshack links. She has them labeled by episodes, in case there's a certain scene you wanted. :)
