Any upcoming races?

My husband and I just ran the 10k Dawg Dash yesterday, and I was thinking about maybe running another race in the next couple months. We're pretty new to races (We've only done the Dog Dash and the Torchlight Run), so I was wondering if any of you have a favourite run (or multiple runs). Any particular distance?

There's tons of great runs through out these up coming fall & winter months (especially of the marathon and ultra variety!)

Ideally probably around the 10k or less distance, but I think we could do a 12k. We're not quite up to marathon lengths yet!

JINGLE BELL RUN!! TONS of fun! :D Poor organization though so don't expect good record keeping for times. :P

I ran the Dawg Dash two years ago and it was SUPER competitive! It was a PR for me by FAR, but I was one of the last to cross the finish line. X_x

I was actually looking at that one. Good to know that the organization is poor, though, so at least we know going into it. Thanks for the heads up!

I was actually thinking of you when we went to the Dawg Dash, partially because you're one of the few I know that runs. We were one of the last to cross the finish line, too, but it was really satisfying just to finish. (I had a terrible cold, and we really didn't train for it.) Are you still running these days?
