A few months ago one of my younger coworkers said to me “No one used e-mail before 2000. ” I laughed at him, and explained that no only did we have email, but I had met my first husband through match.com in 1998.

It's moments like this that I wonder if I was really that stupid and self important in my younger years.

*sigh*

The more I think about that, the more it boggles me. I was laid off from my job working for an Web site company in 2001, after working there 5 years. The dot-com boom was in the 90s. I have Web sites for PBEM games from the 1990s.

GAAAAAH!!!!!!!!

That's like saying they didn't have VCRs before 1990.
