ime, in other parts of the US where there's a sizable Vietnamese population, you get Vietnamese restaurants but not really very many, if any, pho joints. Seattle is unique in its eightymillion pho restaurants.

Yeah, I was just using Vietnamese as an example. From my limited travel this was the first time that I've been in a city that was so very one-note with style of food.
