Where have the days gone? It seems neither my hour-glass nor my time machine have been working correctly or I would have noticed my sooner that the inevitable has occurred: I haven't been here in an exceedingly long time.

I've been writing in the journal I dedicate to same, and have been delightfully prolific, but that isn't this journal. Have

I use my LJ less then I used to, not sure if that is because of life falling apart and the move and now being a single Mom etc or because I haven't felt the need to write.

I have written a several private, for me only posts. Mainly because typing is way easier on me then hand written which till William came along was how I used to do my personal journaling.

Yeah my life kinda fell side ways and a bit almost a year ago.
Hardest, but best decision I have made in a long time was to part ways with Andrew.

It's not what I wanted, but it is the reality of the situation (long story).

Well I work on taking care of me I opted to (at the insistence of my parents) to move me and William back to Orillia and in with my parents.

Life is slowly taking on normalcy and I am beginning to feel like the me I thought I had lost for so long. Which is good as my son (now 5.5 years old) is struggling with school, life changes and a diagnosis of ADHD.

This is my second attempt at daily journaling. Last year was cut short when our beloved pet died, but this year we're doing well.

I'm so sorry to hear about your pet. I apologize for not even remembering you had one, but I know what it is like to lose them. They are a member of the family.

I still check every day or so to see what people are posting. Not too many people do, but I'm interested in what I read.

I don't post much here or on FB or Twitter. Mostly sharing and retweeting, with comments on other people's posts.

But then, I haven't posted a lot myself since Nanowrimo last fall, and once before that last year. I've used LJ to post about my daughter, but not so much anymore.

I don't keep a daily journal at all. My life just isn't all that interesting.

I did Nanowrimo a few years back. Reminds me that I need to work on the piece I completed for it. :)

How is your family?

Family's doing all right. The girl just finished her first year of college. She loves the school and her friends and everything, but she is very glad to be finished with classes and finals. She has all kinds of plans for the summer, including writing and making pancakes every day. She got all of the classes she wants for next semester, so that will be fun. She had a false start last year--had to take a year off, but apparently the registrar's office didn't quite get the memo. She got to register with sophomore priority instead of freshman, which is probably why she was able to get the class on Terry Pratchett
