My new roommates have yet to learn my tricksy ways.

Shawn wanted to know where the milk was. He clearly hasn't learned to be tipped off by the cereal box in the refridgerator, yet. Sure enough, the milk was in the cupboard.

They'll learn. :)

Actually, I do it all the time. Matt has learned to look in the cupboard first. But then, we've been living together for years. :)

I often times catch myself before I actually leave the milk in the cupboard, Its one of those- "Er." moments, mid reach.

I have actually opened the fridge, knew there was no milk consciously.. but grabbed the apple juice thinking it was in fact milk, poured it.. put it away, sat down to each and then wondered why on /earth/ it all tasted so revolting. And it took me about 15 minutes to figure out how apple juice had gotten on my cereal.

Yeah, I will be about to put the cereal box in the fridge but stop myself before actually doing it. ;)

That's because there's no room in the fridge -- especially with those big boxes of cereal we get. :)

Yeah, that's usually when I stop myself, too. When the cereal won't fit in the space the milk should be in. But every once in a while, there's room and I don't think twice about it.
