Well I have been back in Seattle for a few weeks now, and it seems as though life is sort of wizzing by at an amazing speed. I was working at a petshop in West Seattle, but the commute was too much. Well, I am now an alumni! And as my first action as a college graduate what did I do? I read my train ticket wrong. I thought that I left this morning, but actually late tonight. Yah, genius. Oh well.

Four years of higher education served me well. Sigh.

Tomorrow is my last exam... ever... at Gustavus! I know that I need to study, but i cant bring myself to. I just want to be done ( Read more... )

Turned in the completed thesis on Monday, since then I have been in a thesis hangover. I have so much more work to do for other classes, but i just cant bring myself to write any more. My thesis ended up being 33 pgs, which I know isnt massive for a disertation, but i thought it was pretty hefty.

Well, I turned in my rough draft of my thesis, and I actually dont totally hate where my paper is going. I really love the topic that I chose: The Challenge of Xenophobia to Refugee Advocacy Groups in the United Kingdom. I know, thrilling huh!

So I am 22, woot.

I wasnt at all excited about my birthday, which then made everyone try to get me excited, and it just ended with me feeling even less thrilled about not being 21 anymore. 21 was a fun age. 22 is just one more step into full blown adulthood. Does anyone know where I am coming from? Was anyone else less than thrilled about turning
