Totally bored. I've decided that I don't want to be a scientist anymore, just a science teacher.

A true friend doesn't care if your house is untidy, your car makes funny noises, if you only have $5 in the bank this week or that your family is not perfect. They love you for who you are. I am going to clean my room today. And put away the Christmas decorations.

My cat is so stupid, she keeps attacking herself in the mirror. Viciously.

People are so dumb.

You know it's bad when you start to think that living in Death Valley is a pretty good idea.

There's a job there that my husband can do, no university, no TV or internet, one radio station, no grocery stores or fast food and lots of hiking opportunities.

That's how burned out I am.

I think I would post more often if I had anything important to say. Of course there's always ideas and feelings and in the moment I think 'I should write this in my journal', but that's usually when I'm in a car going down the highway or something like that.
