Parent's Weekend was this weekend and for once, Percy was kind of glad that Poseidon wasn't around. He didn't want to explain the whole Luke thing to him and he didn't need Poseidon finding out about his dealings with Kronos because he was pretty sure Luke would end up deader than dead. Luke was bored enough after class that he was willing to risk fighting with Percy for entertainment. He knocked on Percy's door, sort of hoping he was doing something annoying like waking the other boy up from a nap or something.

Percy glanced up at his door and wondered if pizza delivery guys were like quicker than ever these days.

"S'open," he said, sitting up and moving to climb off the bed. "Hang on, I'm getting your money."

That made Luke sounded like a john, didn't it?

Luke lifted an eyebrow at that, wondering just what he was interrupting. He opened up the door and leaned against the frame, his hands in his pockets. "Wow, I hope I'm not interrupting something illicit."

When Percy saw that it wasn't his pizza, he made a face and groaned. "You're not the pizza guy."

Don't sound so disappointed about that, Percy. "I guess it was too much to hope that he'd gotten here in under fifteen minutes. What're you up to? Video games not doing it for you?"
