By some miracle, Luke was actually awake before Percy for once. It was a combination of being up early to look at job ads online and trying to find a Father's Day gift for the first time in...well forever. He did stop what he was doing and shuffle over to the bedroom when he heard Percy moving around.

"I can hear you being grumpy from the kitchen."

"People are too loud," Percy grumbled, pillow still over his head. "Tell them to stop."
