Percy had wasted a weekend doing pretty much nothing. It hadn't necessarily been a bad weekend, just lazy. He'd spent some time in the salle yesterday, working off some frustration and today he was in his room, back to doing nothing

Yeah, Nico had something he felt the need to share and lo, Percy's door was open across the hall from Nico's and now filled with a dark and brooding demigod.
"Oh! You look busy. I should come back." Okay, maybe he didn't actually know if his news was welcome and this was a good excuse to flee.
"Wait, what?" Percy asked, glancing up at Nico's voice and frowning. He'd felt Nico there before he'd seen him which meant Nico wasn't getting away that easily.
"How can I possibly look less busy than this?" He'd probably have to be twiddling his thumbs or something.
Nico didn't know. Actually looking at Percy proved that busy wasn't happening and he wasn't getting away without sharing. "You could be trying to will yourself to sleep through boredom," Nico suggested.
"I'd probably just end up having some dream about Grover," he said, shaking his head. And if he was dreaming about Grover, there was probably trouble and he was too far away to help with that right now.
"I'm not busy. I don't think I've read one single word of his magazine. What's up, Nico?"
Okay, Luke had felt sort of bad for how things ended up on Thursday.
Even if he felt that he was kind of right and Percy was kind of wrong.
But he still felt bad. Which was why after spending the weekend avoiding doing the right thing (which was harder than it looked since they were neighbors), Luke showed up at Percy's door.
He didn't really want to apologize, even if that was what he was there for, and he avoided the inevitable by leaning against the doorway and staring at Percy instead of making his presence known. Hey, if Percy was allowed to stare, so was he.
Percy kind of figured out someone was there after a moment but he didn't immediately look up. He tried to pretend he was focused on his magazine when the words mostly just blurred together. Stupid dyslexia.
Finally, he glanced up and looked almost surprised at seeing Luke in the doorway.
"Luke," he said, closing his magazine. "Need to borrow some flour or something?"
Isn't that was cookie cutter neighbors did? They did in movies, at least.

Luke kind of hoped he was.
