Percy was kind of glad the island seemed to be getting back to normal. He'd gone out when he could, fought off little ugly goblins but stayed out of the labyrinth this time. Luke was glad the island was getting back to normal too. He didn't depend on his powers as much as other people did, but it was still nice to have them back to normal. He was also glad that the weird bog was gone because that meant Nico wouldn't feel the need to keep Mrs. O'Leary in their room all the time.

Everything going back to normal did mean Luke was back to being bored and restless, however. Which was why he went across the hall and knocked on the door. "It's me."

Percy took a moment to change Riptide back into a regular looking ballpoint pen before he said, "It's not locked. Come on in."

Even if he hadn't seen Luke much, he'd been keeping tabs via the radio so he knew the other boy was all right. Still, it was good to get to see him finally.

Luke didn't bother using the door since he had missed being able to use his powers the last few days. Percy could deal with him popping in and being annoying.

Percy jumped a bit since he thought Luke would use the door this time and, for that, Luke got glared at.

"I just woke up a little while ago," he said, grateful he didn't feel self conscious about his pale, skinny legs for once. "Getting dressed was too much work."
