Waking up in the dark wasn't so bad but waking up shivering was. It took Percy a few moments to realize that the power was completely out and that there was thick snow blitzing down outside his window. Hadn't it just been warm yesterday? What the heck happened

Luke hadn't gone after Percy yesterday after seeing him deck Jason since he didn't exactly feel like dealing with the bitchy mood he'd inevitably have, so he waited until Percy had the chance to calm down. Of course now Luke was in a bad mood because it was cold and he couldn't distract himself with video games and, what the hell, wasn't it nice out yesterday?

It was too cold for crap like knocking so he just appeared beside the spare bed in Percy's room, layered in clothes and with a blanket wrapped around him. He still looked freezing. "Hey."

Percy wasn't exactly expecting Luke to just appear in his room so he thought he could be forgiven for startling hard enough to nearly roll off the bed. He didn't though and just glared up at Luke in the dim light.

"Hey," he said flatly. He'd calmed down a lot but Jason's words were still ringing in his head. "Cold?"

"Freezing." Luke didn't miss Percy's tone so he sat down on the spare bed rather than go over to him. "This is seriously unfair."

"I'm surprised you haven't found yourself a battery powered heater or something," Percy replied, scooting down a little further into his mess of blankets. "The cold affecting your ability to think?"
