Spending a week in Hawaii had left Percy tanner than when he'd left but tired too. He'd come back, dropped his bag by the side of his bed and proceeded to climb on said bed to relax. Yeah, so what if he'd just had a week's vacation? He needed a vacation from the vacation now

To say Luke had missed Percy was an understatement, especially considering the near-death experience and the nightmares he had been having lately were making him feel like he had come a little too close to never seeing Percy again. He had been keeping an eye out for Percy when he noticed people were coming into the dorms and was ready to pounce when he got into his room. Luke might've looked a little more tired than usual and was wearing preppier clothes (the button downs were easier to take off) but he still would look happy to see Percy despite the extra lying he'd have to do.

His shoulder had the stitches out (thank you, nectar) and it was well on it's way to being back to normal (though lifting it above his head and training was still difficult for him) so he was in perfect form to pop into his boyfriend's room and immediately tackle him to the bed. He was just favoring his left side a little more than he usually would.

Well, that wasn't something Percy had expected so his initial reaction was to fight right back by shoving at whoever was on top of him (though he luckily missed any injuries) before realizing who it was.

Instead of shoving, he grabbed Luke's shirt and let out a rough laugh. "You're such a jerk, you scared the crap out of me!"

"Who else were you expecting?" Luke said, laughing. "Man, you really spazzed out."

"I wasn't expecting to be tackled!" Percy said, keeping a grip on Luke's shirt and shaking his head. "You wouldn't have reacted on instinct if someone had tackled you?"
