Percy preferred the hot weather. It made spending all morning at the beach a lot more comfortable. Luke had the luxury of being able to tan without getting a sunburn first and spending the majority of the last two days in Alexandria (though not the beach) meant that he was getting pretty dark. Not that it showed very well with the lights off.

He popped into Percy's room after he got back to the dorms with the intention of just checking up on him, and it only took him a second to realize why it was so dark. "I'm not interrupting something, am I?"

Actually, Luke had interrupted something since he was still chatting with Tyson. For a second, Percy looked a little freaked out but his face was thankfully turned towards his half brother and not Luke.

"Just an Iris message," Percy said, glancing over at Luke. "With Tyson, my half brother. I think we're about done though. Tyson's helping our dad out."

"Ah." Luke felt momentarily guilty for not knocking, but not enough to actually stop doing it in the future. "Want me to go until you're done?"

"Nope, I think we're done," Percy said, giving Tyson a quick wave. When Tyson started to protest the hasty end to the Iris message, Percy cut it off before Tyson caught sight of Luke. "He says hello, by the way, and he hopes you brought me food."
